Savor authentic Japanese cuisine at OHAYO
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 12 - 2012

From the moment you step into OHAYO you will be transported to downtown Tokyo with its alluring skyline and bustling nightlife.
A blend of post modernism and history as rich as Japan, OHAYO takes you on a journey to the other end of the continent with its famous slogan “Japan next door.”
It all started when a foreigner was posted in Japan, unfamiliar with the language or culture, he felt uncomfortable in the new world he had just entered. One day when he was craving for a wholesome meal. He asked a Japanese colleague of his to recommend a restaurant that would satisfy his immense hunger. The colleague smiled and took him to a nearby street.
He was amazed to see tables occupied with people in business suits while innumerable servers from the surrounding kiosks were busy serving them noodles, sushi and all kind of specialty dishes.
The aroma overwhelmed him and at that moment that spot became his favorite dining place.
There the foreigner was served the most scrumptious meal he ever had and never stopped discovering all the amazing dishes this cuisine has to offer. By the end of posting, he promised to bring this cuisine to his home country and decided to call it OHAYO, since those are the first words he learned in Japanese, meaning Good Morning.
Japanese Cuisine has been favored by millions of global fans throughout the decades and OHAYO puts the fun back into Japanese food, whether you prefer noodles or sushi, the variety of dishes here will keep you coming back.
The food selection is unlike any other in this part of the world and OHAYO offers a dazzling variety of it, ranging from beef, seafood, chicken and vegetable.
OHAYO stands out from other Japanese restaurants in town as it is known for using only the freshest ingredients imported from Japan.
OHAYO's Sushi and Maki rolls are unique; we can feel the amount of research behind each single one of them.
Other specialty dishes are offered in a very upbeat way, yet conserving the authentic taste of tradition.
Ohayo welcomes guests daily from 1 PM to 1AM and delivers throughout Jeddah. No wonder the name OHAYO suits very well this trendy and vibrant restaurant from the land of the rising sun, that every sunrise greets the world with the first Good Morning.
