MANILA — Kris Aquino is not using her ex-husband, cager James Yap, for publicity. The president's sister — a TV host, actress, popular product endorser in her own right — said on Twitter she was offended when a follower accused her of doing so, according to ABS-CBN News. “All I said was that no bitterness doesn't necessarily mean a desire for closeness,” she said. Aquino recently revealed that she and Yap are not on good terms, saying it's easy to say they are friends — but they are not. “I think we're better off having distance from each other,” she said, adding that they tend to misinterpret each other. She asked people not to provoke her because she was trying to stay patient and quiet, unless it was about their son James Yap Jr., aka Bimby. — SG
