Ten Saudi tourists were robbed at gunpoint by masked highway bandits in Al-Thirwa, Jordan according to an Al-Jazirah report. Falah Naqaa Al-Sa'doun and nine colleagues, were traveling in several vehicles to Al-Aqaba, when they stopped to sleep by the side of the road near Al-Thirwa on the Al-Azraq Al-Jafr highway late at night. At four o'clock in the mornthey saw three masked men firing at them. The bandits took all their cash, ATM cards, identification cards and five cell phones. The bandits then broke all the side and rear windows and burst all the tires on all the cars. Falah reported the incident to the Jordanian police immediately after the armed robbery, but the criminals still remain at large.
