The race will begin after grouping the participants according to their vehicles into four classes based on the capacity of the engine, its power and its production year. The vehicles were standard six cylinders, modified six cylinders, modified eight cylinders and standard eight cylinders. After the technical test on the first day, every participant will make a free tour through the track. The drivers then will have two trials to collect the best time. For the first time in the history of races in the Kingdom the organizers hand the public a chance to vote for the best show driver in this event. A form will be distributed to the public during their entrance to the place specified for them. After collecting forms, organizers will announce the best show driver giving him a chance to make his show in front of the public who voted for him. Drifting is a high skill, high powered motorsport that calls for drivers to control a car while it slides at high speeds through a marked course. It is similar to rally racing, but is done on a closed paved course. It is judged on execution and style rather than just who finishes the course the fastest, similar to skateboarding and freestyle motocross. The sport caters well to spectators and is exciting to watch. 2007 was the first year of the Chevrolet Speed Star series - the first national championship series in the Kingdom. Over the past year, Chevrolet Motorsport has demonstrated its commitment to developing grassroots motor sports in the region, by sponsoring competitions in drag racing, drifting, tat'ees, and track racing. With the new Chevrolet Speed Star Championship, Motorsport has successfully implemented the vision articulated last year, and has elevated local motor sports in the region to higher degrees of safety and excitement. __
