MANILA — Ely Buendia will be holding a countrywide search for composers whom he will tap for his next solo album, according to ABS-CBN News. The former Eraserheads vocalist and current Pupil frontman has announced that the upcoming album, tentatively titled “Ely Sings Your Songs,” will feature works by various songwriters, both amateur and professional. He announced this during a press conference for “Bang Bang Alley,” his debut feature film. Buendia is regarded as one of the major icons of the Filipino music industry because of the Eraserheads' string of hits in the 90s. — SG
