NEW DELHI — The Indian Olympic Association has been warned again that it faces imminent suspension by the IOC because of government interference. The International Olympic Committee reiterated in a letter Wednesday that the Indian body faces sanctions unless it resolves the issues surrounding its elections next week. The letter called on IOA officials to explain their position by Friday. The world body said it would not be sending any delegates to India to resolve the situation as requested by the IOA. The elections are scheduled for next Wednesday. — AP
