The Frontier Guard patrol in the Eastern Province rescued a 20-year-old man from drowning and took him to a medical center in Dhahran for treatment, Sunday. According to statistics obtained by Okaz, 169 people were rescued from drowning on the Eastern Province coast during the first half of 2008. Nearly 145 of them were rescued while swimming and the remaining from fishing or boating in the sea. Four people died while swimming in prohibited areas. – Okaz __
