BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Argentine club Tigre advanced to the semifinals of the Copa Sudamericana with a 4-2 victory over Cerro Porteno of Paraguay Thursday. Tigre advanced 4-3 on aggregate over two legs following a 1-0 loss last week in Paraguay. Four different players scored for Tigre: Mariano Echeverria, Alejandro Donatti, Ruben Botta and Federico Santander. Jonathan Fabbro and Santiago Salcedo scored for Cerro Porteno. Universidad Catolica, Sao Paulo and Tigre have so far reached the semifinals of South America's No. 2 club competition. Millonarios and Gremio play next week for the other berth. — AP
