MANILA — Kylie Padilla has bowed out of the GMA 7 primetime series “Pahiram ng Sandali.” Padilla's manager Betchay Vidanes told PEP.ph they decided to pull out of the project because Padilla's role in it would have been “far too adult” for the 19-year-old actress. Moreover, it would have gone against Padilla's Islamic faith. Padilla is the daughter of action star Robin Padilla, who embraced Islam in the 1990s. “Pahiram” was to replace “Haram,” Padilla's project with Dingdong Dantes that was shelved due to possible sensitivity concerns. — SG
