JEDDAH — A citizen in the Kilo 14 area of Jeddah found a one-month-old baby on the floor of his pickup when he returned home the other day after doing night shift. The man said when he was trying to park his car near his residence he suddenly heard the strange sound of something moving on the floor of his vehicle. When he went out to check, he was stunned to find a young baby wrapped in a small sheet. He immediately reported the matter to the police control room. Officers arrived at the scene with a Red Crescent ambulance. First Lt. Nawaf Al-Bouq, Jeddah police spokesman, said the baby was taken to King Abdul Aziz Hospital in east Jeddah. Police opened an investigation.
