A fire destroyed furniture and other items worth more than SR 25,000 in a third-floor apartment in the Safwan district of Uhud Rufaidah. Two teams of firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in an hour. Another fire caused by a short circuit in the warehouse of a shop near a fuel station was extinguished by firefighters in Hafr Al-Batin. No casualties were reported. –Okaz __
