And he has every reason to be: His latest romantic venture, “Student of The Year” (SOTY) — starring three debutants Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt — has become a hit. SOTY, which was released last Friday, has become the second film after “Bodyguard” to take the top three position on the Heartbeats music chart within a week, Ormax Media tweeted. The much-hyped film was the latest and the fastest to enter the “50 crore” grossers of 2012 yesterday, according to Oneindia.in. All three actors' performances were well received by other celebrities, critics and fans — a clear indication that they have lived up to expectations.
