The African Union's government consists of the Pan African Parliament, which is based in Midrand, South Africa, and several institutions that include the African Union Commission which is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the Assembly of the African Union which has at least one summit annually in a different city every year, and the NEPAD secretariat which is also based in Midrand, South Africa. __
