MOSCOW — Third seed Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark won the WTA Kremlin Cup here Sunday beating Australian top seed Samantha Stosur in the final. Former world No. 1 Wozniacki won 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 for her 20th career title and second this year to level her head-to-head record with ninth-ranked Stosur at 3-3. Second seeded Italian Andreas Seppi, meanwhile, won the ATP Kremlin Cup title also Sunday beating fourth seed Brazilian Thomaz Belucci in the final. The 28-year-old Seppi battled from a set down to win 3-6, 7-6 (7/3), 6-3 for his third career and second of the year. Wozniacki, currently 11th in the world, broke early for a comfortable 3-0 lead. Stosur broke back in the fifth game but failed to level as the Dane produced two more breaks to take the opening set in 37 minutes. Stosur, the 2011 US Open champion, fought back in the second set to level at one set all after one hour 20 minutes on court. The 28-year-old Australian started the deciding set with an immediate break to grab the 2-0 lead but Wozniacki broke back in the sixth to level at three games all. In the 12th game Wozniacki made the deciding break to win the set and the match in 2hr 13min when Stosur, who survived two match points, sent the ball off the court with a forehand cross. Wozniacki received a silver Cartier trophy and a $122,000 check, while runner-up Stosur pocketed $66,250. Venus wins 44th title In Luxembourg, Venus Williams won her first WTA tournament in more than two years Sunday, beating Monica Niculescu of Romania 6-2, 6-3 to take the Luxembourg Open title. Slowed for two seasons by injuries and illness, Venus showed she still had the winning touch and played steady tennis, while Niculescu proved error-prone as she sought her first career victory. At 32, Williams won her 44th singles title in a career that includes seven Grand Slam victories. Berdych beats Tsonga In Stockholm, Tomas Berdych won his second ATP title this year by rallying to beat top-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the Stockholm Open final Sunday. The sixth-ranked Czech saved seven of nine breakpoint chances in the hard-fought match to improve to 3-1 against Tsonga and add to his win in February in Montpellier, France. Berdych now has eight career titles. Berdych saved a break point to hold serve for 5-4 in the deciding set. In the following game, Tsonga then saved two match points by hitting an ace and a winner but ultimately lost on a double fault. Del Potro beats Zemlja In Vienna, top-seeded Juan Martin del Potro won his 12th career title Sunday by defeating qualifier Grega Zemlja of Slovenia 7-5, 6-3 at the Erste Bank Open. It's only the second indoor title for the Argentine, who was playing his first event since returning from a right wrist injury that sidelined him for more than a month. Del Potro reached the final beating Gilles Muller of Luxembourg 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5), while Grega Zemlja advanced by stunning second-seeded Janko Tipsarevic 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-2. Cilic ousts Klizan In Valencia, Marin Cilic of Croatia recovered from a shaky start to beat Slovakia's Martin Klizan 1-6, 6-0, 6-3 in the first round of the Valencia Open Sunday.
