Older men also played an effective role in making the first part of the program a success. The participants removed trees, dried leaves, pieces of paper and other garbage that covered the graves. The residents of Dhamad governorate praised the initiative. Meanwhile, in the Taif governorate 10 youths joined a campaign for cleaning mosques on the expressway between Makkah and Jeddah so that they are ready to receive pilgrims. This campaign forms part of the “Mu Saab” (It's Not Difficult) initiative that aims to develop social morals and values. This campaign for cleaning the toilets in mosques is the first of its kind for places of worship on the expressways. The campaign carries the motto “Care for a Cleaner Environment” and continued for four days. Yasser Saleh Al-Zahrani, campaign member, said six mosques located on the Makkah-Jeddah Expressway have been covered by the first stage of the campaign. He pointed out the second stage will be launched in a few days to cover the remaining mosques on the road leading to Makkah. Al-Zahrani said the campaign, supervised by Muhammad Al-Harbi, is a voluntary project. He added that after cleaning every mosque with all its annexes including toilets, they contact the imam or muezzin of the mosque or its workers and provide them with the campaign's various contact details in case the mosque needs to be cleaned again.
