MAKKAH — The Ministry of Haj has employed 3,912 seasonal workers to assist in providing services to pilgrims, according to the ministry's director of financial and administrative affairs, Khaled Al-Salmi. He said the temporary employees were chosen based on certain criteria to ensure they were competent and qualified to work for the departments interested in their services during the Haj season. Al-Salmi said the seasonal employees would be deployed at all of the Kingdom's air, sea and land inlets that have been prepared to receive pilgrims. He pointed out that the employees were also deployed in the holy sites and the central area around the Haram to assist permanent ministry employees in providing pilgrims with efficient and excellent services according to the directives of Haj Minister Bandar Al-Hajjar. — SG
