MAKKAH – Abdulwahid Saifuddin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tawafa Establishment for Non-Arab African Pilgrims, discussed with Shinkor Demia, head of the Malian Haj mission, various issues related to services that the 7,000 pilgrims from Mali will benefit from. The meeting was at the establishment's headquarters in Makkah. Saifuddin confirmed that the establishment has completed all preparations and arrangements to serve the pilgrims from the non-Arab African countries estimated at 200,000 through 38 field service groups scattered in Makkah. These teams are equipped with the latest technology, including computers, and they are supported by qualified staff including mutawwifs and Saudi volunteers. The head of the Malian Haj mission praised all the services provided to pilgrims by the Saudi government. He said the care the pilgrim gets in this blessed country is a reflection of the great responsibility and honor that Allah has bestowed on it. He prayed to Allah Almighty to reward all who serve and care for the pilgrims.Demia lauded the efforts being exerted by the establishment with continuous follow-up by its leadership to provide the maximum comfort for the pilgrims so that they devote their time to performing the Haj rites with ease and peace of mind. He expressed pride about the shuttle transport system being carried out by the establishment and its keenness to improve services every year. In another development, Saifuddin received Ahmad Omar, Consul General of Nigeria. Following the meeting, Omar lauded the noble services being provided by the Kingdom's government and the huge potentials in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites at the disposal of the pilgrims so that they perform their Haj rites comfortably and with peace of mind. At the same time, he praised the efforts being exerted by the Ministry of Haj and the Tawafa Establishment for Non-Arab African Pilgrims. — SG
