Khaled Al-Jabri Okaz/Saudi Gazette MADINAH – The regional office of a Saudi bank has received a complaint from an elderly Saudi accusing the bank's Khyber branch manager of tampering with his account.In his complaint, Aiyed Al-Rashedi said he had been maintaining a deposit account at the branch since 1998 and had an amount of SR1,350,000 in the account untouched since 2005. When he went to the branch recently to withdraw the money, the manager started stalling tactics.Al-Rashedi said he approached the regional office in Madinah with a complaint and discovered that his account had zero balance. He said large amounts had been withdrawn from his account without his knowledge at intervals. He also said that a certain amount was withdrawn from a credit card account in his name even though he had never applied for one. Al-Rashedi said he had filed a complaint with the Madinah governorate.
