Shahd Alhamdan Saudi Gazette Saudis in Egypt celebrated the 82nd Saudi National Day with great fervor and zest at the Saudi Emabssy in Cairo at Four Season Garden city Sunday evening. Ambassadors of other countries presided over the celebration, including popular celebrities like Rania Youssef and Adel Eman. The celebrations started with Saudi diplomat Amanitas Mohammed Dahlwi and Ambassador Ahmed Katan welcoming the guests and speaking about the developments taking place in the Kingdom. Traditional Saudi dances were performed to entertain the guests, after which a lavish dinner was served. “The celebration was wonderful and the preparations were perfect. It showed the position of Saudi Arabia among countries as lots of important politicians, diplomats, and celebrities were in attendance. Thank you Ambassador Katan,” said Mohammed Abdu who thoroughly enjoyed the national day celebrations. Dahlwi said, “I had worked hard to make the national day a jubilant event. It was very exhausting, but after seeing the proud and satisfied Saudis and other guests enjoying the event, I forgot everything.”
