Chairing the Cabinet, Crown Prince Salman, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, thanked the leaders of brotherly and friendly countries for their sincere feelings toward the Kingdom on its 82nd National Day. The Crown Prince also expressed his appreciation for the outpouring of joy and pride by citizens in various parts of the country. He prayed to Allah Almighty for the continued security and stability of the Kingdom. The security, peace and unity enjoyed by the Kingdom are the results of its adherence to Shariah, said Crown Prince Salman. The Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja, said that the Cabinet was briefed on a number of reports on the latest developments in the Arab, regional and international arenas. He said the Cabinet is looking forward to the deliberations of the 67th session of United Nations General Assembly with a hope that the deliberations will contribute to finding peaceful solutions to various conflicts. More than 120 presidents, prime ministers and heads of states will meet this week under heavy security at the UN General Assembly.
