MILAN — AC Milan's season slumped to a new low Sunday as it had two players sent off and lost 2-1 at Udinese, its third loss in its opening four Serie A games. Roberto di Natale scored the winner for Udinese with a 68th minute penalty and the visitor had Cristian Zapata and second-half substitute Kevin-Prince Boateng both dismissed for two bookable offenses. Inter Milan also went down to a shock defeat, beaten 2-0 at home by lowly Siena with Simone Vergassalo and Francesco Valiani scoring in the last 15 minutes. Neither Milan nor Inter have won a game at San Siro this season in any competition. Napoli lost its 100 percent record in a goalless draw at Catania and Sampdoria was held 1-1 at home by Torino. Palermo's latest coach Gian Piero Gasperini got off to a losing start as his side lost 1-0 at Atalanta. Cagliari's match at home to AS Roma was called off in bizarre circumstances after the club defied orders from local authorities to stage the fixture behind closed doors. In the latest blow to Italian football's credibility, Serie A confirmed on its website that the Cagliari municipal government had ordered the game to be postponed Sunday morning following a late-night meeting. On Saturday, Fabio Quagliarella scored twice in five minutes to send defending champion Juventus to a 2-0 victory over Chievo Verona. Quagliarella was again the star for Juventus, after rescuing the Bianconeri with a last-minute equalizer against Chelsea in the Champions League Wednesday. Earlier in the evening, Jaime Valdes atoned for his earlier penalty miss with a stoppage-time spot kick to rescue a 1-1 draw for 10-man Parma at home to Fiorentina. — Agencies
