RIYADH – Saudi Arabia's current e-Government programme, Yesser, includes 30 initiatives to be executed in the first two years of the Second National Action Plan. With their own plan and budget, each initiative has a special implication for the Saudi Arabian ICT authorities. The specifics of the initiatives will be explored during the 3rd Annual Kingdom e-Government Summit to be held on Sept. 25-26 in Riyadh. The event will feature a variety of strategic keynote addresses, workshops and panel discussions, including those of Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al Mulhem, Assistant Deputy Minister for Planning and CIO of Ministry of Culture and Information, Bla? Golob, Founding Director for the Centre for e-Governance Development for South East Europe, and Yousef Alohali, Associate Professor and former Dean of e-Transactions and Communications, King Saud University. Suhail Al Almaee, Director of the Strategic Planning and Support Initiatives of Yesser, will deliver the keynote speech. “Yesser's participation means the summit is a perfect platform for the implementation of the Second National e-Government Action Plan.
