Khaled Al-Jaberi Okaz/Saudi Gazette MADINAH — The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hai'a) has ordered its staff all over the Kingdom against receiving tip-offs or complaints from the general public on their private telephone lines or e-mails. The Hai'a took this step when it was discovered that a number of its employees were disclosing their e-mails and mobile phone numbers on social networks and websites, advising those with complaints to call in or send an e-mail to the disclosed address. The Hai'a in coordination with Saudi Telecom will allocate a toll free number for receiving any such notifications. Callers should include in their message all relevant information, including their contact details.
