Kingdom blocks links to hate film

RIYADH – In line with the directives of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, calling for blocking all links to a film against Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that has sparked violence around the world, the Communications and Information Technology Commission asked website host companies in the Kingdom to block it.
The Commission also contacted Google and asked it to block all YouTube links which show the film. If Google Inc. does not respond, the Commission will block the entire YouTube. It also urged citizens and expatriates to report any links which show the film to www.internet.gov.sa or the commission's website www.citc.gov.sa.
