RIYADH – Almarai, the largest integrated dairy foods company in the world, effective Monday (Sept.17), became the first company in the Middle East to be featured at the “Megafactories” documentary episode at the National Geographic, Abdu Dhabi, the Middle East's leading factual entertainment television channel. In a press conference held recently in Riyadh at Four Seasons Hotel, the Public Service Affairs Director, Mohamed Al Hammadi of Abu Dhabi Media, the partner National Geographic Channel, said “Megafactories” is a documentary episode that gives viewers an uninhibited view into some of the world's most impressive factories. Exciting footage follows the manufacturing process of the most recognizable and loved everyday products. “After featuring the world class production facilities of iconic brands, such as Coca-Cola, Ferrari, IKEA, Boeing and more, Megafactories comes to the ME for the very first time to feature Almarai,” he added. “When Abu Dhabi Media partnered with NGC to create National Geographic, Abu Dhabi, our intension was to provide the region with leading global factual entertainment. This content has always been personalized specially for the ME through dubbing in Arabic, and with “Megafactories:Almarai”, we are taking local engagement to a whole new level,” Al Hammadi said. NGC and Fox International Channels Managing Director for ME and North Africa Rohit D'silva said that Megafactories is one most highly acclaimed series of the channel because it gives viewers a unique inside perspective on how iconic brands come to life on the assembly line.
