Mishal Al-Otaibi Saudi Gazette RIYADH – King Fahd Medical City (KFMC) has sent a letter to Riyad Bank requesting it to return over SR2 million that was deposited into the accounts of staff members who used to work for the medical complex. The employees were dismissed for different reasons, including tardiness and unauthorized absence from work. Hospital officials said the money was deposited by mistake. However, the bank turned down the request and refused to return the money to the hospital's account. The financial director of the KFMC is now exploring ways to retrieve the funds. The bank also turned down a request by the official to provide him with the procedures that should be followed to get back the money, which was deposited into the accounts of 45 former KFMC employees, the majority of whom Saudis.
