LONDON — British police investigating computer hacking and privacy offenses have arrested a journalist at his southwest London home. The 60-year old man is being questioned at a London police station on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications. The journalist was arrested in connection with Operation Weeting, one of three investigations of media wrongdoing and corruption. Britain's media and political establishments have been shaken by allegations that the News of the World, a tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch's media empire, hacked people's phones for scoops. — AP
