BALTIMORE – Chris Tillman tossed seven scoreless innings Tuesday and the Baltimore Orioles blanked the Chicago White Sox, 6-0, in the second test of a four-game American League series at Camden Yards. Tillman (7-2) allowed just one hit and fanned five while walking four to pick up his second straight win. Brian Matusz gave up one hit over the final two innings. Nick Markakis banged a three-run double, while Adam Jones hit his 100th career home run. Milone (11-9) gave up seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts while Chris Carter went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored for the A's, who have won four straight. Rangers 1, Rays 0: Yu Darvish fanned 10 batters over seven innings and Joe Nathan equaled a Texas Rangers record with his 25th straight save by fanning the side in the ninth inning in a 1-0 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. Mariners 5, Twins 2: Dustin Ackley hit a three-run home run while Hisashi Iwakuma pitched six solid innings to help the Seattle Mariners take a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Twins in the second contest of a four-game series. Iwakuma (5-3) won his third straight decision as he gave up just one unearned run on one hit with four walks and four strikeouts for the Mariners, who have taken the first two of this set after getting swept by the White Sox. Kyle Seager hit a two-run double in the win. Royals 9, Tigers 8: Mike Moustakas had three hits, including the go-ahead RBI double in the eighth inning as the Kansas City Royals edge the Detroit Tigers, 9-8, in the opener of a three-game series at Kauffman Stadium.
