Saudi Arabia-based photographer AbdulMajeed Aljuhani was declared winner of "Best Photo in Saudi Arabia" in Canon Middle East's regional "Dynamic World" photography and video competition, which invited imaging talent throughout the region to capture the best of the region's dynamic moments. The competition which was organized as part of Canon's continuous commitment to recognize grass root photographic talent, witnessed over a thousand entries from thirteen participating countries. The first and second prize winners in the video category, which allowed videographers to submit a video that showcased the dynamic elements of their city, were awarded to UAE residents Noushad Pallikkal and Lewis de Mesa for their videos titled "Dubai Creek" and "Emirates Winter". The third prize went to Kuwait resident Said Hussein for his video titled "Kuwait in Motion". This year's competition provided a unique platform for enthusiasts to utilize both- photography and video mediums. The addition of the video category reflects the growing trend of photography enthusiasts using their DSLR cameras to record full HD videos.
