MANILA — Philippine President Benigno Aquino III has ordered the replacement of an ailing ambassador who was deployed to China three months ago to help resolve a territorial rift between the Asian neighbors. Ambassador Sonia Brady has been hospitalized in Beijing since suffering a stroke Wednesday. Foreign Secretary Albert del Rosario said Monday her condition was improving. Del Rosario made a sudden trip to Beijing over the weekend and has returned to Manila. Del Rosario says Aquino has ordered him to start looking for Brady's replacement to ensure her full recovery. — AP
