RIYADH – Saudi Telecom company (STC) is rolling out the new iPad Wi-Fi + cellular model in Saudi Arabia starting today (Aug. 11). Customers can buy now the new iPad with a range of attractive data plans, including zero down, that will allow customers to connect to its fast HSPA+ network at speeds of up to 42 Mbps, the company said in a statement Thursday. The third generation iPad is a category defining mobile device that features a stunning new Retina display, Apple's new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a 5 megapixel iSight camera with advanced optics for capturing amazing photos and 1080p HD video. It also still delivers the same all-day 10 hour battery life while remaining amazingly thin and light. "We're are delighted to be offering the incredible new iPad in Saudi Arabia," said Jameel Abdullah Al Molhem, STC's CEO of KSA Operations.
