Police arrested a Pakistani in Al-Qunfuda for allegedly attempting to smuggle a truckload of qat into Jeddah. The alleged smuggler was arrested at a checkpoint when he nervously told police he was transporting barley to a trader in Jeddah.Police searched the vehicle and found qat hidden under floor panels and covered with large quantities of barley. Two days earlier police confiscated two truckloads of qat at the same checkpoint. – Okaz __
