Pickpockets arrested in Makkah

MAKKAH – Makkah police busted a gang of pickpockets that targeted pilgrims in the Grand Mosque's courtyards. The gang, which called itself Aunt Zainab, was caught after a member was seen snatching a bag from a pilgrim. Police followed the man to the Ajiad neighborhood located near the Grand Mosque and then raided the house he entered. Officers arrested the entire gang and recovered different currencies, jewelry, watches and cell phones worth SR100,000.
