MANILA, Philippines – Director Jose Javier Reyes confesses to have caused the misunderstanding between Alfie Lorenzo and his ward, Judy Ann Santos. According to the grapevine, Lorenzo got infuriated that Santos did not get his permission to join the cast of the 8th Cinemalaya Film Festival entry “Mga Mumunting Lihim” that Reyes penned and directed. Reyes declared that it was indiscretion on his part to have not taken the time to seek Lorenzo's approval about his ward's undertakings though he claims “sabi ni Judy Ann, siya na ang bahala [magsabi kay Alfie about doing the movie].” To this he apologized via an interview with PEP posted on Friday and said: “Ako ang mali, dahil hindi nai-communicate sa kanya [Alfie] properly. I'm asking for... humihingi ako ng sorry, Nagkaroon ng miscommunication ukol sa ‘asking permission' kay Alfie.” — Agencies
