Canon has finally taken the dive into the mirrorless interchangeable lens camera space with the EOS M. Available mid-September, the camera has a compact size, yet offers an 18-megapixel APS-C sensor and a Digic 5 image processor, which were previously only found in the company's DSLRs. The EOS M has a user-friendly touchscreen interface, but it doesn't have a an inbuilt flash. Canon is immediately making available two new lenses designed specifically for its new camera format - the EF-M 22mm f/2 STM kit lens and the optional EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens. There's also the ability to use the full line of Canon EF and EF-S lenses through the optional Mount Adapter EF-EOS M.
