ABDULLAH Hashim Company Limited, the sole distributor for Honda products in Saudi Arabia, has announced the long- awaited arrival of refreshed Honda CITY in the region. This follows the recent launch of all new CR-V in April 2012. Shakib Haider, General Manager-Honda SBU, of Abdullah Hashim Co., said "the new Honda CITY refreshed its popular "Arrow Shot Form" with new striking definitions on exterior body giving an even more dynamic presence on the road. The front fascia with its distinctive new chrome grille, renders a sophisticated sedan appeal. Well-defined front & rear bumper accentuates the sophisticated sedan appeal and new rear tail-lights now looking more stylish. The dynamic character of the CITY is enhanced with new design 16" alloy wheels (available on EX grade)." The CITY comes equipped with a 1.5L, 4 cylinder new generation i-VTEC engine delivering class leading power of 118 hp while providing good fuel economy. Unique in its class, the CITY is also equipped with 5-speed automatic transmission which not only provides an improved drive performance but also improves fuel efficiency. The "paddle shift" option (for EX grade) brings more sporty driving performance analogous to the Honda pedigree. Safety of all occupants are addressed by equipment such as ABS (antilock braking system), BA (brake assist), EBD (electronic brake force distribution), Dual SRS airbags and pre-tensioner seat belts which come standard on the new CITY. Honda also ensures pedestrian safety by incorporating G-CON (G-force control technology) body which mitigates impact energy efficiently and thus alleviates pedestrian injury. The Honda CITY is available in two grades - LX and EX. Features like body colored bumpers & mirrors, power mirrors & windows, electric power steering, tilt/telescopic steering column, advanced audio system, air conditioner, fuel consumption display, ABS, SRS airbags, front seat belt pre-tensioner & load limiter are standard on both LX and EX grades. – SG
