LONDON — “Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them: a desire, a dream, a vision.” “The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.” “I wish people would love everybody else the way they love me. It would be a better world.” The above are three quotes from the man known simply as “The Greatest”, and the man whose 70th birthday is being commemorated in London in a stunning exhibition. Forman's Smokehouse Gallery, which overlooks the Olympic Stadium, will play host to the exhibition, which celebrates Muhammad Ali at 70. The exhibition will feature iconic imagery and artwork - some previously unseen - showcasing his career as a boxer and also from his work outside the ring. Ali's brother Rahaman is jetting over from the US to officially open the exhibition Thursday, and a host of British boxing greats will also be in attendance, including Dave “Boy” Green, Colin McMillan and Duke McKenzie. — Agencies
