Galuska said these ties seek to enhance security and stability in the region and the world. He made the statements following the opening of an honorary consulate general in Jeddah on Tuesday. The event was attended by Lubomir Hladik, Czech Republic's Ambassador to the Kingdom, Vladimir Lukastik, honorary consul to the Kingdom and Hussein Shobokshi, Saudi honorary consul to Czech Republic. Galuska said that Riyadh and Prague constantly coordinate and cooperate with each other with respect to issues of common concerns and interests. Talking about the role the new consulate will play, Galuska said it will enhance business and economic cooperation between the two countries. “Czech Republic is keen to forge political and economic ties with the Kingdom,” said Galuska while commending Shobokshi for his role in strengthening Saudi-Czech ties.
