JEDDAH — Over five thousand spectators flocked to the Al-Meghwah Coliseum to watch the activities taking place in Hail Tourism Summer Festival 33 titled “Our Summer Suits all Tastes of our Guests.” Spectators enjoyed watching various vehicles drifting and sidewall skiing (driving on two wheels) shows. The young drivers behind the wheels hailed from different Gulf nations. They performed audacious stunts using GMC, Yukon, Lexus and Caprice vehicles, clearly boggling the attendees. The organizing committee expects the number of young spectators to increase over the next few days. The committee's chairman, Adel Al-Hamzani, said the drifting shows will continue for another two days because spectators seem to be having the time of their lives watching student drivers showcase daring skills live. – SG
