Ayman Kareem Al-Madinah newspaper My relatives and close friends claim that they prefer to visit countries where they are less likely to run into Saudis on account of their embarrassing public behavior in shopping centers and other places. They often raise their voices in public, do not control their children's behavior, and break numerous rules. They seem incapable of waiting their turn in line, violate traffic laws, and stare at people in public. In addition, they mistreat people who provide them with services. Male Saudi youth often harass women, specifically other Saudi women. Other Saudi tourists wish to travel to places with few Saudis in order to preserve their privacy from their fellow countrymen, whether they are in restaurants, public parks or in a movie theater. It is important for Saudis to rectify their behavior in public, especially when they are traveling to countries which host people from different backgrounds. Saudis need to understand that they represent their country and should strive to maintain a good image and embody good moral behavior when dealing with others.
