DUBAI — In a very festive and captivating episode that was watched by million of Arabs across the region, the Saudi group “ “Khawater Al Zalam” won the “Best Arab Talent” as per the audience's votes, after 13 weeks of fierce competition. The group, which has been known to master the “Light & Dark Visual Art” technique since the start of the show, managed to fascinate the audience and Arabs through their creativity and unique performances. They took the technique of “Light and Visual Art” to a whole new level when they performed an astonishing act that resembled and explored the magic of the underwater world. In addition to their title, the group won SR500,000 and a Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Just minutes before announcing the winner of the Second Season of “Arabs Got Talent” three contestants received majority of the votes. The talented and vibrant singers, Shamma Hamdan from UAE and Dalia Sheeh from Algeria, were alongside “Khawater Al Zalam” in the top three. The finale included an opening performance by the Maxime Al Chami from Lebanon, a true opera singer who mesmerized the audience with an enchanting tune. The second contestant Hussein Al Rasmy performed his balancing act that was described by Ali Jaber as “a world class act”. It was followed by Muhannad Al Jumaily with his stand-up comedy performance, who asked for Najwa Karam's hand in marriage. Sheeh chose a song that she was able to perform well and showcase her capabilities and vocal strengths. While using the straws and his innovation, Hassan Al Minnawee played and performed two traditional songs using several straws. In Popping Dance category, Maher Al Sheikh was evaluated by the jury because of below performance. As for Radwan Shilbawee's performance on the hanging ropes, it was a bold and daring performance. Manal Mallat kept the audience content and happy with her outstanding performance and stage presence by singing “What a Feeling” in English. As for the group performances, Overboys played on the drums while Shamma Hamdan created a captivating fusion by singing and playing one of the Khaliji classics on her guitar, which was well appraised by the jury. Finally, La Hala King Zoo fascinated the audience with a choreographed dance performance from the feel of the jungle. Commenting on the finale and the end of Season 2 of Arabs Got Talent, Mazen Hayek, MBC Group's official spokesman and group director of PR & Commercial, said: “Since the start of the second season, we were very impressed and absorbed by the caliber of talents presented on the show. It has become a unique artistic platform of international standards whereby the Arab youth gather to express themselves and familiarize the world with their exceptional talents. Moreover, the input and encouragement the jury shared whether through the heart (Najwa), mind (Ali) and soul (Nasser) was a source of inspiration.” Hayek added: “What's more exciting is that the participants' fan base has spread beyond TV, to include digital and social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, among others”. He further confirmed that there will be a 3rd season as the show is a hit and has further enhanced the unique family viewing experience, for all age groups and classes proving once more that Arabs do certainly have talents. Najwa Karam, renowned singer and artist and jury member, praised the contestants and the level of talents they brought with them, which succeeded in making this season more exceptional than the first. The second jury member and famous Saudi actor and comedian, Nasser Al Qassabi, congratulated the winning team, Khawater Al Zalam, for earning the title of “Best Arab Talent”, and believed that the audience has made the right decision voting for them. And finally, the third jury member AUD Dean of Communication Ali Jaber, praised the effort of the contestants who improved and sharpened their talents throughout their journey in the show, describing it as an exponential development.
