Near the Kuwaiti border two young men were shot in the hand and foot. They were allegedly shot for harassing a sixty year old man and his family while on a family picnic in Hafr Al-Batin. Security officials arrested the 60-year-old for shooting the young men with an AK-47 assault rifle. He said the young men were showing off with their cars around the family. The 60-year-old tried to flee to a nearby gas station where security officials arrested him. He was handed over to Hafr Al-Batin police. The Deputy Spokesman of the Eastern Province Police said Hafr Al-Batin Police have taken the man into custody and have impounded the weapon and his car. The two youths are reported to be in stable condition, one with an injury to his left hand, and the other to his right foot. – Okaz __
