Al-Bouq said the suspect, who was not identified by name, did not have any residency documents and was staying in the country illegally. In another criminal incident, plainclothes officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) nabbed two Somalis who were trying to steal a laptop from a car in Al-Aziziah district after breaking the vehicle's window. The two men were caught red-handed. Al-Bouq said both were handed over to Al-Shimaliah police station to complete investigations and determine whether they were involved in other crimes. Al-Bouq warned the public against leaving valuable items such as laptops and mobile phones in their cars to avoid tempting criminals.
