Saad Al-Qabousi Okaz/Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Jeddah municipality shut down three five-star restaurants because of various health code violation. According to a municipal official, the restaurants were charged with serving rotten food to customers. He added that the municipality was carrying out inspections all over the city to insure that health codes are being followed. This summer, more than 2,500 restaurants and other eateries have been shut down in the city for numerous health code violations.
