A fashion event where you can find men all decked up in fancy clothes walking, stopping and posing in the Kingdom is very rare. However, DKNY gave men a platform to model their latest collection at the opening of their new boutique in Bougainvillea Mall, Jeddah. Themed “Guys' Night Out,” the Kingdom witnessed an uncommon occurrence of men confidently showing off their suave sense style and chic sensibilities. The event was hosted by Mix FM RJ Nawwaf Al-Thafery and broadcasted live. The ribbon cutting ceremony was graced by Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Al Saud who officially inaugurated the store, while the guests watched and anxiously waited for the competition to commence. Men attending the opening were invited to participate in the styling competition where they had a chance to showcase their personal taste in fashion. Participants could have their pick from the DKNY Men's, DKNY Jeans and Pure DKNY lines, giving them a wide variety of styles to choose from. Shazia Penne of Shazia Al Khaleeja Abayas judged the competition. The first position was bagged by Osama Filimban and the second prize was given to 12-year-old Badr Ehsan Khodari. Mohammed Abdul Waheed, Marketing Manager, Land Rover of Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors, presented the winners with prizes of the “Winning Look” and an Ipad. Ladies need not worry because the boutique not only houses ready-to-wear men's clothes, but also has a distinct collection of accessories and handbags for women and kids, making it a one-stop-fashion-shop for the entire family. Female guests who purchased on the evening were given a free DKNY logo supersize tote bag, while the male guests were given an exclusive DKNYVIPMAN membership card for them to enjoy year-round privileges on men's collections. The boutique adds to Al-Hama's DKNY store portfolio with existing stores in Jeddah, Riyadh, Khobar and Bahrain.
