A Saudi camel herder ordered the slaughter of 5 of his camels after the animals allegedly attacked him inside his stockyard, a local daily reported. The man suffered from injuries and broken bones as a result of the attack and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. The herder claimed the camels were sick and that's why he wanted them slaughtered. However, the butcher who was tasked with slaughtering the desert animals said they were perfectly healthy and suspected the man just wanted revenge. The slaughtered camels' meat was distributed to neighbors.
