‘I beat her to discipline, not kill'

Rozan's stepmother, accused of murdering the child after torturing her for three years, validated her earlier confession to the general court in Makkah on Monday. According to the stepmother, she was beating the 10-year-old child to discipline her and not to kill her. Investigation authorities had earlier noticed signs of violence all over the child's body. According to medical reports, the child died as a result of internal bleeding in her head. __
