Ali AlirezaSAUDI Arabian planning holidays overseas and in other parts of the Middle East this summer are the first to take advantage of a new regional Hertz call center for car rentals worldwide.
The call center employs a specialist team of Arabic and English-speaking staff to provide Saudi callers with a quick and seamless service to book the vehicle of their choice, prepay for it locally in Saudi Riyals, and save money in the process.
It is already busy receiving calls from Saudi travelers requiring car rentals for overseas summer holidays in key destinations such as the US, and Europe, and in popular Middle East locations.
The new call center operates round-the-clock, and car rental bookings can be made from within Saudi by calling 9200 05561 any time of day.
Direct phone links for callers from the other GCC countries, and the Levant, will be rolled out over the next six months.
"This is a new and significant addition to better serve our clients from Saudi Arabia, and more significantly, it is a cost saving service as we will offer the most competitive rates for outbound bookings," said Ali Alireza, Chairman of Al Wasilah Rent a Car, Hertz franchisee in Saudi Arabia.
Gordon Atkinson, General Manager, Hertz Saudi Arabia, added: "The call center team is made up of Arabic and English speakers, and are all car rental specialists, with a wide knowledge of the Hertz car rental services on offer at our 8,500 locations in 150 countries worldwide."
Instead of paying for their car rental on arrival at their destination, Saudi callers can take advantage of attractive pre-paid rates and pay in Riyals through the call center.
The majority of Hertz rental cars available are less than six months old, and callers who book vehicles from the Hertz Collections are guaranteed the precise make and model they chose is waiting for them at their destination. But summer travelers are advised to make their bookings well in advance in view of high seasonal demand.
Options include the 'Green Collection' of fuel efficient, eco-friendly cars that are easier on the environment, and the wallet, and the 'Prestige Collection' which includes names like Mercedes, BMW and Porsche.
