Rodman sentenced in family court

Flamboyant former NBA star Dennis Rodman has been sentenced in Southern California to 104 hours of community service after being found guilty of contempt for failing to pay child support. An Orange County family court commissioner Tuesday also sentenced Rodman to three years of informal probation. The sentence includes the condition he pay current child and spousal support obligations. Rodman married in 2003 and his wife filed for divorce a year later. Since then, the former couple has been feuding over custody and support of their two children, ages 10 and 11.
