It was announced Tuesday during the 8th German Breakfast held at the Marriott Hotel in Riyadh. Twenty three German companies present the latest state-of-the-art technologies and services at the show. "German-Saudi business relations traditionally are sustainable and prosperous partnerships. With the Platinum Sponsor SAMACO and the Gold Sponsors Alhamrani Fuchs, Kuehne+Nagel as well as Cassidian, we are proud to have business partners, which have shown that German-Saudi cooperation is a story of success," Andreas Hergenr?ther, delegate of German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia and Yemen, said during the grand opening, which was jointly officiated by Eng. Abdullah S. Al Mobty, Chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry; German Ambassador Dieter W. Haller and Hergenr?ther as the host. German-Saudi bilateral trade has been increasing significantly in the past 12 months. Exports from Germany increased by 31 percent in the first two months, while Saudi exports rose by 160 percent compared to the same time in 2011. The German entrepreneurs held meetings with high-ranking Saudi businessmen like Al-Mobty, and Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisy, Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The catalogue show will then move to Eastern Province on June 3 at the Sharqiyah Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Dammam. Saudi and German businessmen who are active in the Al-Qassim region have also the opportunity to visit the German Catalogue Show on June 5 at the Al-Qassim Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Buraydah.
